Uchiba, a modern Japanese concept in Dallas, demonstrates next-level flavor building with its #menu of modern yakitori. Here, chunks of chicken thigh that have been marinated in sweet chile and glazed with an intriguing kimchi caramel are separated by planks of grilled negi (Japanese long onion) and finished with lime juice. A kimchi emulsion is served as a dipping sauce. https://lnkd.in/deYB9-Se

Lesson learned: You shouldn’t look for a chai in a coffee shop. 😂 Not to mention, it was actually good. But, Dulith Herath, I would appreciate if you could consider an actual spice chai ☕️ in the menu.

Ever said you don't like lattes, only to have someone assume you despise all coffee? It's like declaring a dislike for pineapple on pizza and suddenly being labeled anti-Italian cuisine. This little caffeine conundrum is a perfect example of how our words can be filtered through others' perceptions. Sometimes, your carefully crafted message gets lost in translation faster than foam disappears from a cappuccino. So, speak your truth, but be prepared for misinterpretation. It's an opportunity to educate, expand horizons, or better yet, sip your americano in peace while respecting the latte lovers. Remember, life's too short for bad coffee and unnecessary explanations. Embrace the diversity of brews and views, and maybe we'll all become a little more espresso-minded. P.S. Plot twist - I actually love lattes. This post was just my elaborate ruse to spark conversation... and possibly score free coffee. #CoffeeThoughts #PerceptionMatters #SpeakYourTruth #LatteLover #socialmediamarketing

Today marks the start of British Pie Week. The pie is a glorious invention. Its original purpose was simply to provide a means to transport food for workers with dirty hands. The pastry was simply a means to prevent their dirty hands touching the food that they would eat. Indeed, it is said that the people making the pies used the pastry to clean their hands! Nowadays, we eat all of the pie and there is nothing more wonderful than a good pie. The practice of topping a pile of meat with a separately baked piece of puff pastry seems to be going away thankfully – that is not a pie! I cannot decide between steak and ale pie or chicken and mushroom pie as my favourite pie. What is your favourite pie? #sales #business #technology

Imagine a bustling kitchen where flavors from around the world blend into a harmonious dish. Building global teams IS like fusion cooking: you want to retain individual ingredients' unique flavors and textures while ensuring the final dish is coherent. Three things to get it right then : • Your vision, like a chef’s, MUST guide the team, aligning efforts toward a common goal. Without it, the team risks becoming disjointed. • Each ingredient should be chosen not just for its taste but for how it complements others. • Finally, the key is balance. A great chef doesn’t force ingredients together. You must create a culture of respect, open communication, and mutual appreciation. When thinking about overseas talent, consider the best fusion dish you've ever had. The love for great food - we all have that “in common.” Don't we?
