For me, a huge part of learning about the metacrisis was listening to all the episodes of Nate Hagens' 'The Great Simplification' podcast, in order. At times, it's pretty heavy. It was also largely a thinking process, using my brain to understand, and then connect the various dots. But the metacrisis is not just happening in my head. It's also something I am living in, with, and through. It's happening - now. Navigating that on my own would be no fun at all ... so I am grateful to have found the likes of Laurent, Bec, Kira, Bernd, and others with whom I can share the journey. If you're also looking for like-minded people to think - and feel - with, then maybe we can help? Metacrisis Diplomats 🌱 Video extract is from our interview with Alexandros on 'The History of the Metacrisis'. His most recent episode features the amazing Nora Bateson, and is well worth a listen. From plateau to purposeful growth – Guiding ambitious achievers to clarity and fulfilled success | Achievement Coach, Speaker, Project Engineer, Podcast Host
This is what makes ambitious achievers different when it comes to action. Most people will consume knowledge and information. They read all the books and listen to all the podcasts. They learn all the gems within it. But they don't actually take any meaningful action to implement that information in their day to day. Like David Goggins discussed on Andrew Huberman's latest podcast episode, the experiences and learnings shared in books and podcasts can never be fully understood by the audience unless it's been personally experienced by them. Sometimes our consumption of knowledge gives us a false view that we're progressing towards our goal when really it's the implementation and doing, that holds more value. And that's what differs ambitious achievers. They understand that consuming knowledge only aids the process but isn't actually the process. It's the doing that will get them to fulfilled achievement. If you have all these learnings but don't know how it forms part of your bigger picture, DM me "Achieve" to discover how you can strategically take meaningful action to achieving fulfilled success. #masterofachievement #successmindset

Ready to make stuff happen? I help organizations get unstuck with design thinking. Consultant | Researcher | Professor | Podcaster | Follow + 🔔 #makestuffhappen
It's estimated that 1 in 10 adults fear failure, though I suspect this estimate may be conservative. In my seven years of researching Design Thinkers, change, and innovation, the fear of failure has emerged in every dataset. The common narrative suggests that from an early age, we're socialized to avoid failure. School emphasizes the importance of "the right answers", rewarding success in tests and penalizing failure. As we transition into the working world, we continue this pattern, striving to do "the right things" and avoid mistakes. Over time, we internalize a mantra: success equals reward, while failure leads to punishment. After consistently doing "the right things" and avoiding mistakes we might earn a promotion or a raise. As we advance in our careers, we're expected to innovate, think creatively, drive change and we are expected to do it all while avoiding failure. Does this sound familiar? Can you relate? The truth is, if we want innovation and change, we must shift our perspective on failure. In episode 24 of the Design Thinker Podcast, our guest Chris Taylor discusses the unavoidable reality of failure and provides advice on how to adapt our relationship with change. 🎧 You can listen to the episode here 👉🏽 https://bit.ly/dtpep24, or on your favorite podcast platform. #designthinkers #designthinking #podcast #podcastepisdoe #fearoffailure
