Yesterday, following the announcement from the UK Government regarding regional skills investments in order to prepare workers for the energy transition, CATCH were fortunate to host ITV News Calendar. The ITV team toured the CATCH facility, interviewed apprentices, and also spoke to both Joel Broddle AWeldI, Head of Welding and Pipefitting and David Talbot, CATCH Chief Executive Officer, about the skills shortage within Lincolnshire and the importance of skills training in order to provide both Lincolnshire and the UK with a workforce who are capable of supporting the energy transition. This was a fantastic opportunity for all involved, and allowed for us to showcase the exceptional training that is being offered at CATCH, as well as how we plan to grow and help bridge the skills gap and prepare the next generation for a future in clean energy. Thank you once again to ITV Calendar News, as well as all CATCH staff and apprentices for their support. David Talbot Katie Hedges Lisa Buck Joel Broddle AWeldI Ellie Owens ITV News
