This week, we had an engaging session with the leaders of ASA Philippines Foundation, a non-profit organization specializing in microfinance. ASA empowers over 2 million Filipinos by providing loans, savings accounts, and business training. We explored the possibilities of how we can collaborate in supporting their Microfinance Officers and leaders. We talked about the importance of employees cultivating the right mindset and improving critical thinking skills to enhance performance and decision-making. This underscores a prevalent challenge confronted by numerous Filipino employers who struggle to find workers with the appropriate mindsets and skills amid the backdrop of high unemployment rates—a point affirmed by findings from the 2022 Asian Development Bank (ADB) study. We're encouraged to see that companies are increasingly recognizing the value that human capabilities bring to the workplace, extending beyond just functional and technical expertise. What are your thoughts on this? Let's continue the discussion in the comments. #TheFutureofWorkisHuman #SkillsDevelopment #HumanCapabilities #ASAPhilippinesFoundation #BagoSphere

Life & Business Coach | I coach and train you or your organization to SEE, SEIZE & SCALE opportunities and move from Scarcity to Surplus | Cultural Intelligence Facilitator
Yesterday, I activated one of my superpowers - the ability to talk to any audience across cultures. This time, it was couched under the umbrella of training. I engaged on the “Future of Work” with the staff of Kingdom Kids Klub, a non-profit providing intervention for orphans and vulnerable children in Nigeria and led by Mrs. Sandra Chikan. The training agenda was to help participants reach work fulfillment, overcoming self-doubt, strategically position in the new era, and balance passion and sustainability. Interestingly, the conversation for the future of work cannot be complete without recognizing that work today is influenced by demand, technological explosion, globalization and mobility. This creates more opportunity for Cultural Intelligence to become the forging framework for thriving teams who will succeed in the workplace of the future. Still contemplating if you and your organization needs to embrace CQ (Cultural Intelligence), hop on a chat and let’s talk further. #futureofwork #culturalintelligence #traininganddevelopment #trainingprovider
