In my opinion, Digital Twin of a Customer (DToC) is the most interesting new technology that entered this year's Gartner “Hype Cycle for Digital Banking Transformation”. A DToC is a virtual representation of a customer that the bank can use to simulate and anticipate customer behavior. Extending traditional customer-360 collections of customer data, DToCs integrate customer data and customer preferences from multiple sources to become the basis for better customer understanding and new, personalized products & services. DToCs can reduce the friction in customer communication and improve customer engagement and retention. I expect to hear more about this technology in the future. #bankingindustry #innovation #transformation

What we found is that top brands differentiate themselves through professionalism, easy to do business with, and knowledgeable. What was more interesting was the definition that the customers gave to those three topics. It would seem that those three differentiators are aimed directly at the contact center.
