We believe in what we do because we have the science to prove it. Our published research papers offer a detailed look into our process and the science behind what we’re accomplishing here at AIR COMPANY. Be sure to follow along as we share them here. 📄 Single-Step Production of Alcohols and Paraffins from CO2 and H2 at Metric Ton Scale This paper provides an overview of AIR COMPANY’s technology at a pilot-scale. Our team of scientists and engineers operated our pilot system, achieving over 8,000 hours of operation, allowing for the conversion of over 50 tons of CO2 to alcohols and paraffins, demonstrating the stability and scalability of our process. As part of this deployment, the team collected a significant amount of catalyst stability and performance data that enables our company to gain further understanding of our system as we scale-up. This pilot-scale deployment has allowed us to demonstrate the scalability of our single-step process, and we are now pursuing further scale-up to make a meaningful impact toward climate change mitigation. 🌊Offshore installation operations are a marvel of engineering and human ingenuity👷♀️. 🏋🏻♀️These complex projects showcase the seamless integration of cutting-edge technology and skilled expertise, transforming vast ocean expanses into productive energy hubs. The precision and scale of these operations, from the transportation of massive structures to their precise positioning on the seafloor, demonstrate the ability to overcome formidable challenges in harsh marine environments. As we continue to push the boundaries of offshore engineering, we unlock new possibilities for sustainable energy production and resource management. #offshore #engineering
🤫 Shh! We’ve got big news, but we’re keeping our voices down. That’s because we’ve invented a novel technology for installing monopile foundations on our offshore wind projects with even lower noise. For decades, we’ve been deploying measures to build sustainably and protect ocean life. With this new technology, we’re introducing the next generation of nature-friendly installation methods. The system uses a patented jetting technology attached to the monopile to lower the resistance of the sandy soil, further reducing noise during installation. We’ve successfully tested this innovative method at our Gode Wind 3 Offshore Wind Farm in Germany, marking a milestone on our net-positive biodiversity journey and a potential game changer for how to build offshore wind. Great to see Ørsted's new lower-noise installation method. This could dramatically reduce the noise levels during the installation of monopile foundations, further mitigating potential impacts on marine mammals and other marine life. EPI Group is currently providing marine mammal observers and protected species observers for a number of global offshore wind projects, so we know that this is an important issue for the industry as it grows in a way that is harmonious for nature. #offshorewind #energytransition #renewableenergy #marine #epigroup

This is awesome news! Environmental regulatory boards are increasingly concerned about the noise produced during offshore wind projects installation. Recently, strict measures and stringent noise limits have been imposed to protect the marine ecosystem and ensure sustainability. Such lower noise installation technology would be a milestone in providing sustainable projects for offshore wind. Also, the Americas region is witnessing a surge, and momentum is building up in offshore wind projects, with significant implications for the renewable energy landscape. In Canada, we are seeing increasing interest and investment in offshore wind, particularly on the Atlantic coast, with great potential and increased interest recently on the west coast too. The potential for offshore wind in Canada is immense, with vast coastal areas offering excellent wind resources on par with the North Sea (around 10.3 m/s). This growth is crucial for meeting our climate goals and transitioning to a sustainable energy future. Several projects are in the pipeline, promising to boost local economies and create jobs. For instance, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland & Labrador are emerging as key players, with ambitious plans to harness offshore wind energy. As someone deeply involved in the marine and renewable energy sectors, it's thrilling to witness this momentum. Offshore wind not only provides a clean energy source but also fosters technological innovation and collaboration across borders. Looking ahead, the Canadian offshore wind market is poised for substantial growth. With supportive policies, technological advancements, and collaboration between industry and government, we can expect a bright future for offshore wind in Canada. Let's continue to push for sustainable energy solutions and capitalize on the incredible opportunities offshore wind presents. #OffshoreWind #RenewableEnergy #CanadaWind #SustainableFuture #EnergyTransition

Good roundup, Sightline Climate (CTVC) Emma Kulow Inside methane monitoring’s big moment >> The methane monitoring, reporting, and verification tech on our radar; the LongPath Technologies, Inc. difference is that we anchor this tech stack with reliably accurate methane data that is scalable across all assets, with alerting you can count on, all delivered in a cost effective way. So much so that we can help operators reduce their Methane Fee exposure by up to 99%. "Fixed: Like home carbon monoxide alarms, fixed methane detectors can be installed on or near key oil and gas assets to continuously monitor emissions. Good for: High granularity, similar to handheld, but can be networked across broad areas to extend range, especially for remote locations where manual surveys are expensive. Enable more continuous monitoring, so can flag when leaks start. Key innovators: LongPath Technologies uses laser-based monitoring sensors for continuously monitoring infrastructure." #methane #methanemonitoring #methaneemissions #oilandgas #emissions #energy #lowcarbon #emissionsreduction
