It's always exciting when we get to help someone purchase their new dream home, but it's an even more unique privilege to be able to help people recover after a natural disaster. Earlier this year, Charles and Jo'Lisa Hamilton's land was struck by a deadly tornado that caused considerable damage to their home and the surrounding properties. Their home helped keep them safe and, unlike other homes in the area, it was still standing. But the damage done required it to be replaced. As they shopped for a new home, a friend recommended they visit Palm Harbor Village in Denton where they met Josh and began touring models until they found the beautiful Pecan Valley. “We looked at about five or six layouts,” Charles said. “And the one we found had everything we were looking for.” As the Hamilton's knew, Palm Harbor homes have been tested time and again in heavy weather and natural disaster situations from hurricanes to earthquakes. We were fortunate to be able to join the Hamilton's as they took a tour of their home pre-delivery at the Factory so they could sign it for good luck and celebrate a much-anticipated return to normalcy.
