Believe it was last April when the topic of AI in sales slapped me in the face. I distinctly remember, I was at the AA-ISP conference and was listening to Marie Brunet on a panel interview with several others. Chat GPT and Google Bard were the newest things, and the biggest question of the day was "Are the days of SDRs and Field Sales over?" - I felt like I just had a bucket of ice water dumped over my head. This has literally been the big topic at every event I've attended since then - CRO Summit, Forrester in both Europe and the US, The Pipeline... and speaking with endless businesses about their viewpoints and adoption through countless meetings. Hearing the perspective of "we have to get on board now," to "AI is just going to get shut down." At the end of the day, AI is a tool to make us better. It's everywhere, and it isn't going anywhere. Question is how can we all get better together and maximize what is most important, the customer experience. Lo and behold, here we go.
