Elevator Big 3 News - in a not so surprising development, a customer reached out to us to see if we could take over their contract. Otis had them in a 5 year OS (parts, oil and grease) for an incredibly high amount of money. On top of that, they were charging EXTRA for their Artificial Intelligence intelligence/Internet of Things plan which as we know, means less visits. Well, they have been in the contract over a year and their EService report shows…..wait for it….ZERO VISITS since being in the contract. They are paying 465 dollars a month for a no repair contract with callbacks limited to 2 hours and no visits. WOW. THAT IS ROBBERY. How are consultants not stepping in on these contracts and the lack of service? The customer is trying to cancel but Otis will fight them on it.
