The road behind you is often worth a glimpse to see how far you have come, rather than a source of direction for tomorrow. While running a half marathon to raise funds for childhood cancer, completing each step gets you closer to that finish line, and sometimes it pays to see just how far you have come, and how you can pave the way for the 15,000 runners behind you. Be that trend setter. Be the one to set goals. Be that person who paves the way. Keep taking those steps toward your goal. And only look back for inspiration to keep going and realize just how far you have come. #22.4 #crossthatbridge #princesschallenge

The Faris Foundation treats every dollar as if it comes from a child's piggy bank. Because our operating expenses are generously subsidized, we are able to maximize the impact of every dollar we receive by putting it towards our programs, not overhead. We are so grateful to our community of supporters for investing with us, and in our 2023 Impact Report, you can see just how transformative this approach has been in bringing brighter days and better treatments to children with cancer: https://lnkd.in/gfjV3rw3

WHY WE RUN IN OUR UNDIES and how it's making a difference. We run in our undies because those affected by NF can’t cover up their tumors. They can’t put on clothes to feel more comfortable, so why should we? Since 2010, we have brought together over 108,600 undie runners to build a community of supporters that just won’t quit. Our community has raised over $21,700,000 since the inception of Cupid’s Undie Run, with 100% of net proceeds funding NF research, through our partner the Children’s Tumor Foundation. And we are seeing real results, including a ground-breaking clinical trial where 70% of participants experienced 20-50% tumor reduction! But we aren’t even close to being done, and we won’t stop until we #EndNF.

In a world where challenges loom large, the power of collective resilience shines brighter than ever. The recent Dolphins Challenge Cancer event is a prime example of this strength, rallying 6,702 individuals to raise an impressive $12 million. This huge effort beat last year's amount and reached the target of $75 million for the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center earlier than expected! It's incredible to witness such a phenomenal success. It is a testament to the unstoppable spirit of the Miami Dolphins and Hard Rock Stadium leadership and each participant who turned adversity into victory together. Their collective resilience has powered a movement that's met one of the most ambitious donation goals in sports history, showing the world what's possible when we unite for a common cause. "One team. One fight." The resilience, unity, and strength displayed are truly inspiring. Stephen D. Nimer, M.D., put it well when he said, "Thanks to the unwavering support from the South Florida community and our amazing partnership with the Miami Dolphins, we've been able to achieve so much at Sylvester, pushing the boundaries of cancer research." When you focus your efforts on a goal, you're bound to succeed. Well done, Miami Dolphins! This event has made a real impact in the fight to save lives. #Community #Resilience #Teamwork #MiamiDolphins #CancerResearch
