This includes regular minor updates to our Class A office buildings through to complete refurbishments, e. g. in order to be able to operate the buildings and rental space in a much more sustainable way. We are therefore delighted today to announce two further lease extensions totalling around 7,400 m² in our two buildings "Belmundo" and "LaVista" in Dusseldorf. BBJ asked me about WELL Certified offices: “It is not impossible for a tenant to get [their office] WELL Certified in a non-certified building, but the WELL Core Certification of the building makes the process much easier and quicker. Therefore, I expect an increase in the number of WELL Certified office buildings in Budapest,” she comments. Right now, seven buildings are Well Core certified in Budapest, and seven others are WELL Precertified. The number of WELL Certified spaces has a constant increase of 13-15% every quarter in Europe. This 50-storey office extending to 204m is the 4th tallest in the City of London (12th tallest in London) and is understood to be the UK’s most sustainable speculative office scheme within its size category. The building has achieved an EPC rating A and an “Outstanding” BREEAM rating. This is a strong vote of confidence by BayernLB towards London, the UK and to "Financing Progress". After 47 years in London, this move represents only the fourth change of location and a move back to Bishopsgate, where BayernLB had its very first London office. It offers colleagues and customers alike the use of a state of the art, environmentally enhanced office space.
