The transition from NCTS to DVA will take place in a single, immediate shift on October 29. In our opinion, a true BIGBANG 💥 All economic operators who prepare transit documents will be required to submit their declarations in the new DVA system starting from this date. Pretty cool situation that happened this week. A testament to our business model and strategy to be a complete transportation management solution to our shippers. RFX is the central capacity SCAC for a family of companies. We have over 10 active MC's that have individual specialties in reefer freight, LTL, Flatbed and global shipping. All of this is cool and a great offer to add to our abilities as a brokerage, but sometimes shippers just need trailers. In this situation a shipper of ours needed a handful of trailers dropped in their yard for storage asap. One of our sister companies had a yard nearby with plenty of equipment, but no power units in the area. One of our other sister companies had a driver heading back from a power only run. RFX was able to use this visibility to tailor a solution quickly for one of our shippers in need. Certainly not a complex situation to be handled, but proof that our model has value and a proud moment to be able to deliver for our customer.
