I am honored to have recently received a Certificate of Excellence from the MITx staff, specifically Laura Allegue and Bart Hegarty, for my efforts as a Community Teaching Assistant in the most recent run of SC2x - Supply Chain Design. I wanted to share with my LinkedIn network my top three reasons to join the MITx MicroMasters® Program in Supply Chain Management community as a CTA: 1) Expanding My Network 🤝: Connecting and learning from the accomplished MITx MicroMasters staff and a diverse group of CTAs has been invaluable. This experience has significantly expanded my network, enriching my personal and professional life with each valuable connection. 2) Enhanced Community Feeling 💼: As a learner, I felt part of the community, but this has deepened since becoming a CTA. Without the stress of exams, I can focus on engaging in productive discussions within the forum. 3) Deepening Knowledge 📚: "We remember: 10% of what we read, 20% of what we hear, 30% of what we see, 70% of what we discuss with others, 80% of what we personally experience, 95% of what we teach others" - Edgar Dale. Helping learners has improved my understanding of the subject and allowed me to explore specific interests more deeply (although my performance on some of the beta tests may suggest otherwise 😂) To my connections, especially those related to the MM in SCM program, I highly encourage you to volunteer as a CTA. My biggest takeaway from this year’s #UPCEA conference: Because online students have unique needs requiring modern technology and processes, the universities that have been successful with online programs have become VERY good operators. And now they’re starting to ask how they can take the best practices they’ve learned from their online initiatives and apply them to their ground programs. They believe if they can get the on-ground side to embrace these best practices, the university as a whole will function more efficiently and serve students better. We’ve been talking a ton lately about our new Strategy & Development team (Melanie Andrich, MBA), and these conversations backed up my conviction on this team’s role. Whether it’s traditional or online, improvements in people, processes and technology will be instrumental in helping universities thrive in the coming years.

🎉 Proud to Have Participated in "INNOVATIONS 2023" National Level Project Presentation Competition! I am excited to share that I participated and qualified for the final round of the national level project presentation competition “INNOVATIONS 2023” organized by CSI SIESGST. Although I didn’t win, the experience was incredibly rewarding and filled with valuable lessons. 🌟 Competition Highlights: Innovative Projects: It was inspiring to present my project alongside some of the brightest minds and to see a diverse range of innovative solutions from participants across the country.
