After reading this book I can only conclude that this is a sublime work, an example par excellence of historiography. The authors have expertly analyzed in detail the warfare from 1945 to the present, based on countless wars and battles, with an eye for all aspects that are necessary, such as strategy, insight, loyalty, arsenal of weapons, location-based, interests, motives as well as a look at future warfare with the help of AI, robots, disinformation, drones and proxy wars. I have therefore written this review in both Dutch and English. The English version is below the Dutch one.
