New words learned - skip scanning! For retail, the way we understand security and access is this: a. At input - unloading, back of house, storage etc. b. During shopping - merchandise protection c. At out bound - check out, exits etc. d. Surveillance - inside and perimeter. e. Enforcement Balancing this is science and not art! Its purpose is to break down any incident into simple parts so you can better protect, mitigate, and recover in the future. "Bang" is the event in question. The left of bang is the events leading up to the incident, and the right of bang is the aftermath and review of the incident.
