Today's CEEC meeting of Czech construction industry leaders at Prague Castle Today's meeting is a unique opportunity for me to discuss the future of our industry, which is facing the challenges of digitalization, sustainability and rising costs, but also offers room for innovation and collaboration. I see a common effort among the participants to contribute to the creation of quality and sustainable construction that will serve future generations. I believe that the discussion will provide new impetus and inspiration for further growth and development.

I participated in the "Technologies for Low-carbon and Lean Construction (TLC2) Week 2024." This event brought together industry leaders, researchers, and practitioners to explore cutting-edge technologies and methodologies aimed at reducing carbon footprints and improving efficiency in construction. Innovative Technologies: Sessions on the latest advancements in construction technologies that promote low-carbon solutions. Sustainable Practices: Discussions on best practices for implementing lean construction techniques to minimize waste and optimize resources. Case Studies: Presentations of successful low-carbon construction projects, highlighting challenges and solutions. Regulatory Frameworks: Examination of current and upcoming regulations and policies impacting low-carbon construction. Networking Opportunities: Interactive workshops and networking sessions with professionals and experts dedicated to sustainable construction. I recently had the privilege of attending the Global Construction and Infrastructure Conference 2024, hosted by RICS. This fantastic event provided a platform for connecting with industry leaders, exploring cutting-edge trends, and gaining valuable knowledge that will shape the future of our field. Key Takeaways 1. Sustainable Construction Practices: The conference highlighted the growing importance of sustainable construction methods and technologies, emphasizing the need for decarbonization in the construction industry.
