Ceder's Drinks’ Post

I had the incredible opportunity to work with Ceder's Drinks and INK Entertainment Group on a non-alcoholic cocktail tour of Toronto recently. I discovered a lot of interesting things: 1. Bartenders are working hard to use non-alcoholic spirits but still have a learning curve (hint: killing them softly with citrus); this is important because you want the Ceders or any other spirit to really shine through 2. Tumblers and highball glasses seem to be the default for every single mocktail; only two out of six restaurants got it right without a nudge from me 3. I still want n/a wine with dinner! 😉 None-the-less, it was a super fun experience to drink and dine, and also be able to chat with the guys and gals behind the bar to hear what they have to say about non-alcoholic spirits. Grateful for the change in the industry and the obvious effort to start being inclusive by the hospitality industry!
