Attending RISE? Stop by! 🚀 Value-Based Care in 2024: Pivotal Changes and Trends As we navigate through 2024, the healthcare industry is embracing transformative changes with an increased focus on value-based care (VBC). Here are the key developments: 1. Quality and Outcomes Over Volume: Shifting from fee-for-service to value-based models emphasizes patient outcomes and quality care. Regulatory changes continue to support this trend, enhancing the focus on social determinants of health. 2. Technological Innovations: Advanced technology and data integration are crucial. AI is revolutionizing predictive care models and reducing administrative burdens, significantly improving care efficiency and quality. 3. Financial Incentives and Risk-Based Contracts: The rise of risk-based contracts and alternative payment models is reshaping financial incentives, aligning provider interests with patient health outcomes. 4. Emergence of Non-Traditional Players: Community pharmacies and home care providers are increasingly pivotal, filling gaps left by traditional care models and enhancing integrated service delivery. 5. Integration of Specialty Care: Specialty care is being more meaningfully incorporated into VBC models, driven by increased utilization and federal initiatives to integrate these services more fully into care plans. 6. Ethical AI Utilization: With AI's growing role, ethical considerations are paramount to ensure equity and avoid biases in healthcare delivery or impact the member's well-being. These trends underscore a collective move towards a more integrated, technology-driven, and patient-focused healthcare system. Let's discuss how these changes are influencing your strategies and operations in 2024! #HealthcareInnovation #ValueBasedCare #DigitalHealth #HealthTech #AIinHealthcare

🏟️🍻 Summer 2024: A Strategic Window for Beer Sales! 🍻🏟️ As we reach mid-July, the malt supply chain is already seeing the benefits of the seasonal increase in beer consumption. This year, two major sporting events—the UEFA European Football Championship in Germany and the upcoming Paris Summer Olympics—are poised to further boost beer sales, even with the initially disappointing weather. The football tournament in Germany alone could add up to a 5% increase in beer sales, a boost reminiscent of the 2006 World Cup. This surge is driven by fans gathering in pubs, restaurants, and homes to watch the matches. Additionally, the Paris Olympics will highlight non-alcoholic options through a sponsorship agreement between the IOC and ABInBev, showcasing a strategic focus on responsible alcohol consumption. For detailed insights and analysis on how these events impact the malt supply chain and beer industry, subscribe to RMI Analytics GmbH's comprehensive journals. Stay ahead with data-driven insights that help you navigate and capitalise on market trends. Here's to a summer filled with thrilling games and responsible enjoyment! 🍻⚽🏅 #BeerSales #Summer2024 #UEFA2024 #ParisOlympics #ResponsibleDrinking #SportsMarketing #BeverageIndustry #NonAlcoholicOptions #ABInBev #CheersToSummer

🏴SCOTSTOBERFEST 🇩🇪 I’ve turned on the news this morning and the first thing the BBC news have reported about Scotland fans drinking the pubs dry in Munich. Undoubtedly, us Scots like a drink…. Drinking Munich DRY though…? Was that a case of poor planning from the pubs, overindulgence by our travelling 200,000 strong Tartan Army? I looked up some stats on Scotland v Germany. 46% of Scottish adults drink at least once a week, lower than 50% across the UK. And there is evidence of an increasing number of adults in the country never or rarely (less often than monthly) drinking: 36% in 2021, up from 32% in 2018. German beer sales were down 4.5% in 2023 compared to the previous year, resuming a long-term trend of the nation famous for Oktoberfest, drinking less. Interestingly, the country that drinks the most beer in the world per capita is the Czech Republic, which consumes 184.1 litres per capita annually… not Germany! Munich bars may just be following their national market trend, but they certainly weren’t prepared for Steve Clark’s Barmy Army. As the #coffee competition circuit grows, #roasting championships are seemingly becoming more prominent – which is pushing more of a stripped back approach that favours pure skill over flair. Tomas Serra, an Authorized Specialty Coffee Association Trainer from Argentina, and I share some insights into how roasting championships are becoming more popular and the potential impact this could have on coffee competitions at large. https://lnkd.in/eG65pN2Z

"Competition medals don't mean anything; everyone has medals." That's a common sentiment we often hear. Most of the time, it's true. Many competitions give distinctions to whoever pays, with judging criteria that don't solely focus on taste. However, the San Francisco World Spirits Competition appears to be different. It is a blind competition where only taste matters, judged by an extraordinary panel of experts. "Many consider a Double Gold at San Francisco to be the highest medal one can receive in the spirits world, but there’s something even more prestigious: a Platinum Medal." We are proud that our Rum 0.0% has been awarded Double Gold every year since its creation and is now the first non-alcoholic spirit to receive the Platinum Medal. Our dedication to crafting the finest non-alcoholic spirits from real spirits is paying off, and we couldn't be prouder.Check out the full list of platinum medal winners at SFWSC here https://lnkd.in/dkx7AxjT #SFWSC #Competition #PlatinumMedal #DoubleGold #NoAlcohol #AlcoholFree #NonAlcoholicSpirits San Francisco World Spirits Competition The Tasting Alliance
