Chief Executive Officer | Certified board director | Indigenous business | Passionate about ESG | Supporter of sustainable resource extraction
I had the honour of moderating the Inter-regional cooperation panel at the NWT Indigenous Economic Leadership Forum. The 4 panelists included: Tlicho Grand Chief Jackson Lafferty, Dehcho First Nations Grand Chief Herb Norwegian, Deline Got’ine Government Chief Danny Gaudet and CEO, Gwichi’in Development Corporation Roy Erasmus Jr. The panel looked at collaboration and opportunities for Indigenous groups across the north and beyond. Main takeaways included: - Indigenous groups are stronger together. How can we collaborate to move major projects together - There is a need for Indigenous groups to diversify out of the north where we are limited by opportunities and geographies - The opportunities are vast. Indigenous groups need to be willing to take calculated risks and lean into opportunities. - Industry needs to look at meaningful ways to include Indigenous groups in their projects including equity positions within the companies themselves. - We are open for business!!! Masi Cho (Thank you) for everyone for participating. It was a valuable discussion and gives the territory hope with the strong leadership that you all bring. #yellowknife #nwt #indigenous #indigenousbusiness #community #hope #esg #mining

RISE Mzansi's National Leadership Collective member, Irfaan Mangera, will be in Fietas, Vrededorp tomorrow. This is a forgotten community, where Irfaan's family was forcefully removed due to spatial injustice. In the RISE People's Manifesto, we have committed to reorientating non-racialism to focus on systemic racism, such as spatial injustice. We need new leaders who come from our communities and understand our needs. #WeNeedNewLeaders #VoteRISEMzansi

I help nonprofit executives accelerate climate-change action across their org chart and partners in <30 days without overwhelm using my proprietary framework with guaranteed clarity, confidence, trust, and traction.
The primary value of public-private partnerships is not primarily the doing: Although that's important. Rather, it is the powerful outcomes for farmers: **Community in places where aloneness is common **Supportive people where there are few **Resources where they are lacking Meaningful gains for farm businesses and #climatechange mitigation: Are incredible and desirable outcomes. Yet you can achieve those: Only if you attend to the human condition first and foremost. #regenerativeagriculture #leadership #purpose
