International Pride Month 🌈 International Pride Month is coming to an end. It’s a time for joy but also for raising awareness about the ongoing challenges the LGBTQI+ community faces. Respect and appreciation for all employees are crucial at Boliden: It’s about safeguarding psychological safety and tolerance for every team member. Therefore, we recently launched a new online course focused on LGBTQI+ inclusion in the workplace, available to all employees: “Knowledge gives us a better understanding and awareness of what we can do to become even more inclusive at Boliden, so that everyone feels welcome,” says Anna Yngström, Manager of Talent and Performance. Inclusivity matters because we know what it feels like to be on the outskirts. Our company started from humble beginnings and when we were out there grafting, doing the work, it wasn't easy.
