We are pleased to announce that on 11th October 2024, at the EDP Headquarters in Lisbon, ENEIDA.IO will be participating in the one-day conference Building the EU’s Energy Transition. This event will bring together leading experts from industry, academia, and government institutions to explore critical aspects of Europe’s energy transition. The conference will provide a comprehensive overview of the current state and future direction of the energy transition, underscoring the urgent need for sustainable energy solutions and the regulatory frameworks driving this change. ENEIDA.IO will be represented by José Oliveira, who will speak about the eNeuron project. His session will showcase the work carried out by five research projects funded by the European Commission, all aimed at driving innovation in the European energy sector. In conversation with Victoria Ossadnik COO of E.ON about transformative energy solutions for Europe, Fabienne shared the large scale solutions Xlinks is embracing that will make a sizeable difference to European grids. Last week's DLD Conference brought together the most impactful visionaries to inspire, guide, and shape the future. Xlinks is 'future positive" about delivering renewable energy solutions at scale. Our Morocco-UK Power Project will connect Morocco - a centre of abundant supply - to the UK via 4000km subsea cables to provide 8% of Great Britain’s current electricity needs. "We're becoming the blueprint for the world for long distance interconnectors and our message is clear, think big. The energy transition is not going to happen with incremental investments".
