LinkedIn has completely lost control of their platform. For the past week there has been an increasing flow of brand new, fake accounts, all supposedly working for my company. I have received dozens of reports that these accounts have been posing as recruiters and spamming countless thousands of LinkedIn members, dangling the prospect of jobs at CellarTracker. We HAVE done a lot of hiring over the past 2 years and plan to do more. However, there are currently NO OPEN JOB POSTINGS. Anyone approaching you is a spammer/scammer/con-artist. There is absolutely no one at CellarTracker with the title of Vice President, Assistant Vice President, Assistant to the Vice President. These are just a sampling of the latest fake accounts: cc LinkedIn https://lnkd.in/g5StHCvd https://lnkd.in/gS8Hbh-n https://lnkd.in/gnVaU84z https://lnkd.in/gGgPv97m https://lnkd.in/gWhQuQk5 https://lnkd.in/ge-gtTGd https://lnkd.in/gisiKdRg https://lnkd.in/gpqUqnzH https://lnkd.in/guy5ccNh https://lnkd.in/gp7nNFV3 https://lnkd.in/gcjqFKFu https://lnkd.in/gmgxBUBN https://lnkd.in/gQzF4MDj https://lnkd.in/geSdDJWY https://lnkd.in/gcu3ed7k https://lnkd.in/gSDyhyYn https://lnkd.in/gGKEd_mg https://lnkd.in/gfQv7a5v https://lnkd.in/gjj45pnF https://lnkd.in/gmGYi8as https://lnkd.in/gCHEqDTv https://lnkd.in/gAh3P8He https://lnkd.in/gcWfh_wG https://lnkd.in/gy2Nz4_R https://lnkd.in/gu6rHgBx https://lnkd.in/gerEMaM3 https://lnkd.in/gRWuUdg7 https://lnkd.in/gKMyZUNZ https://lnkd.in/gmx6VQHd https://lnkd.in/g5cac5-p https://lnkd.in/g3RFnbr2 https://lnkd.in/ggagU9_4 https://lnkd.in/gKNvrziW https://lnkd.in/gihM-nME https://lnkd.in/gDWjPNen https://lnkd.in/gt2vafRU https://lnkd.in/gMTyj8K3 https://lnkd.in/g7zcb6EN

I got called something pretty horrible on here a few weeks ago - over DM. I'm not going to repeat it, but it wasn't very nice. The reason for the nasty name calling? I hadn't accepted a connection request from a random. A month had gone by and I'd either ignored it or simply not seen it. Either way, this person made their way into my DMs to ask me why I hadn't accepted. As I do with all connection requests, I checked out their profile. The only thing they'd posted in the last year was data certifications they'd completed. They hadn't posted anything else nor had they interacted with other people's content - at all. Despite this they had several thousand connections. They can follow me and see my content without connecting... so what gives? Why were they so keen to connect? And so aggressive about it? Normally I would ignore this sort of interaction but I decided to ask them: "Why should I accept, your connection request?" I was genuinely curious. Their answer: "You're at a senior professional with a big account, I'm just at the start of my data career and need help growing my network so I want to connect with you so I can access your network. You should help me." So we have this person who right now has my attention and my time. But not only are they not asking me any useful questions, they're admitting to using me as a way to access my connections. No bueno. I told them, I'm wasn't going to accept their request which resulted in a tirade of highly offensive name calling which I objected to, and promptly blocked them. Ladies and Gentlemen, this is simply not how you go about building your community on LinkedIn - but I think this is how many approach it. Want to be a great person to connect with? Then be useful. Interact with people's content, ask useful questions, share your thoughts ideas! When those people connect with me, I waste no time accepting!

#standwithisrael #standwithukraine For those of you who have been victims of #silencing efforts by LinkedIn, see below:
We need your help❗️ 🙏 Most of you are probably familiar with one of our biggest public advocacy heroes on LinkedIn, 𝗚𝘂𝗿 𝗕𝗲𝗻 𝗭𝗲𝗲𝘃. His posts have filled up our feeds, and we have liked, commented, and reshared them countless times. He has been permanently banned by LinkedIn, and we are trying to help him get reinstated. 𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗲 𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽, 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴. Please like, comment and share to spread the word to as much people as possible❗️ -------------------------------- Friends, A special request for assistance, please, if you have connections at LinkedIn or at Microsoft, that owns LinkedIn. Since the beginning of the war and up until 3 weeks ago, I spent most of my waking hours working at public diplomacy directed at LinkedIn’s international audience. 𝗜 𝗳𝗲𝗹𝘁 𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀, 𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗜 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗲, 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗝𝗲𝘄𝘀, 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗹𝗶𝗺𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀. 𝗜 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗽. Some data regarding my activities: 🔹 52 million views of content 🔹 Over 1 million reactions and likes 🔹 40 thousand followers 🔹 Over 4,500 posts. During this period of time, LinkedIn blocked my account 7 times, claiming that I violated the platform’s community rules. It is important to understand that the rules are very vague, and when you one of your posts is blocked, LinkedIn does not tell you what in your post or video constituted a violation. Posts are usually blocked subsequent to reports / complaints by our “friends” (also known as trolls, i.e., individuals with opposing views) or because LinkedIn’s bots marked them as problematic. I estimate that roughly 100 of my posts were blocked. I appealed most of the cases, and most of my appeals were accepted by LinkedIn, who reinstated the posts. About 3 weeks ago, LinkedIn blocked my account and told me that it was permanent. My account has been active on LinkedIn for 17 years, 12 of which as a paying customer. Thank you in advance for any assistance. Gur.

Hello, LinkedIn Connections. My name is Tushar Ravindra Bawaskar, and I just received an email informing me that my LinkedIn account was hacked in the United States using a Chinese name, even though my entire profile had been altered. I respectfully suggest that the LinkedIn staff look into this issue. @LinkedIn #LinkedIn #complaint
