It is with great pleasure that I share my experience from my 6-month end-of-studies internship at Sanofi's vaccine manufacturing site in Val-de-Reuil, under the supervision of my internship mentor, Nicolas KUEHM.
By the end of this internship, I successfully identified ten improvement initiatives using a problem-solving method. Three of these initiatives were accepted, and one was implemented, allowing Sanofi to save up to €500,000 per year.
My internship provided me with a valuable professional experience that significantly broadened my horizons. I learned that theoretical knowledge does not always reflect the realities of industrial environments. Immersing myself in a production site made me aware of the unique challenges associated with industrial scale, which involve many additional factors compared to a laboratory setting.
The mission I was tasked with was complex, requiring consideration of multiple aspects and divergent contributions from various stakeholders. Despite these challenges and the obstacles encountered along the way, the constant support and insightful advice from my mentor, Nicolas KUEHM, were crucial. His encouragement helped me overcome difficulties and make effective progress in my tasks.
A new chapter is beginning as I pursue my professional project to become a highly qualified process and biotechnology engineer, aiming to improve existing processes and innovate new ones while addressing economic, environmental, and social aspects.
I am currently open to new opportunities at the start of my career in the biotechnology sector (pharmaceuticals, agro-food, cosmetics, etc.).
