Be an ally. Be Kind. We ALL have one thing in common, we are all human beings first. Yet, so many different people continue to experience discrimination for a multitude of reasons. Financial wellness in the LBGTQ+ community face unique challenges and setbacks-- we all deserve to have access to financial products and services in an equitable environment. The 2024 LGBTQ+ Financial Wellness Report's key findings are a rude awakening that there is much work to be done for better financial inclusion. *Roughly half (48.15) of LGBTQ+ adults say they are financially unwell, compared to one-quarter (25.7%) of the general public. Both BIPOC and younger (age 18-24) LGBTQ+ adults are even more likely to say they are financially unwell. *Three in ten (30.8%) LGBTQ+ adults say they have experienced discrimination while accessing financial services *Roughly half (48.15) of LGBTQ+ adults say they are financially unwell, compared to one-quarter (25.7%) of the general public. *Nearly 60% (59.7%) of LGTBQ+ adults have annual household incomes below $75,000. "The data underscore the need for our economic empowerment programs, especially for younger BIPOC LGBTQ+ folks. I hope the data are a call to action for organizations serving our community. Given what we know about who is struggling the most, these organizations have an opportunity to center BIPOC young adults by being culturally responsive, trauma informed, and offering voice and choice to young people.” Maruka Rivers, Director of Economic Empowerment Programs at the Human Rights Campaign Foundation How is your credit union being an ally? If not, reach out and get involved.

This month, we stand proud and united to commemorate Pride Month, a celebration of love, diversity, acceptance, and self-expression. This is not just a time to acknowledge the struggles and victories of the LGBTQ+ community but also to reflect on the importance of creating a more inclusive and empathetic society. As we celebrate Pride, let us also remember the importance of allyship. Being an ally means supporting and standing up for the rights of those who identify as LGBTQ+. It means creating safe spaces at work and in our communities where everyone can be their authentic selves. It requires constant learning, understanding, and committing to equality and justice. This Pride month—and all year round—let's strive to spread love, promote inclusivity, and uplift each other. Because when one of us succeeds, we all do. How are you celebrating Pride month and promoting inclusivity in your community? #PrideMonth #Inclusivity #Allyship

As we celebrate Pride Month, let's take a moment to reflect on the importance of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in our workplaces and communities. Embracing DEI not only enriches our environments but also drives innovation and growth. This month, let's commit to learning more about the experiences of the LGBTQ+ community, to understanding the challenges they face, and to taking action in support of their rights. Let's use this time to start conversations that matter, to share stories that inspire, and to build bridges that unite. Together, we can create a world where everyone is free to be themselves and where equality isn't just a goal, but a reality. #PrideMonth #DiversityAndInclusion #EqualityForAll

Everyone is welcome 🌈💙. Our #Diversity, #Equity & #Inclusion (DEI) Policy underlines that sexual orientation shall not impact anyone's role at Greiner and commits us to address inequalities faced by the LGBTQ+ community. We are aware that there is a lot do to and the LGBTQ+ community still faces numerous challenges around the world. Many countries do not have comprehensive#antidiscrimination laws that protect the community. As a Relationship Manager at Workplace Pride, Robert Corvers takes great pride in the work he does for our members and his community. Recently, Robert had the privilege to share his personal story and expertise on LGBTIQ+ inclusion in the workplace during a panel discussion at Squire Patton Boggs. 📽 You can view the video below. This opportunity was not just important; it was necessary. Globally, we are witnessing the resurgence of anti-gay laws in countries like Ghana, Russia, and even the US. Unfortunately, this often translates into increased discrimination and microaggressions against the LGBTIQ+ community. It is crucial for employers to not only acknowledge this issue but also take action. Prioritising inclusion aligns seamlessly with business objectives. It fosters a win-win situation – not only do satisfied employees result, but it also contributes to higher profits in the long run. #WorkplacePride #LGBTHistoryMonth #InclusiveWorkplace #LGBTIQ

As we celebrate Pride, let’s remember that it’s not just about rainbow-branded imagery or trendy hashtags. It’s about education, awareness, and genuine support for the LGBTQIA+ community. Here are some ways we can make a meaningful impact: Educate: Learn and share the meaning behind Pride Month and its history. Purpose: Ask yourself why you’re supporting Pride. Are we adding value to the conversation? Is your company truly an ally? Year-Round Support: Pride isn’t limited to June. Let’s support LGBTQ+ initiatives throughout the year. Remember, Pride Month is about more than just a colorful logo. Let’s walk the walk and create an inclusive environment every day. 🌟 #PrideMonth #LGBTQIA+ #InclusionMatters
