NEVER TRUMP.... EVER! Recurring historical patterns of authoritarian leaders throughout history and their disregard for human rights and democratic values must end. It is crucial to remain vigilant and hold those that seek power, accountable for their actions. History has indeed shown us the devastating consequences of unchecked power and the erosion of democratic principles. The rise of dictators and authoritarian regimes leads to oppression, violence, and the suppression of fundamental freedoms. The United States was founded on principles of liberty, justice, and equality, enshrined in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. These principles have been upheld and defended throughout history, ensuring a system of government that protects individual rights and promotes the rule of law, it shall not cease, ever. It is essential to remember that the preservation of democracy requires constant vigilance and active participation from citizens. By staying informed, engaging in civic discourse, and exercising our right to vote, we can ensure that our leaders are held accountable and that our democratic institutions remain strong. https://lnkd.in/gSUi-kMb

Transitional justice is to address past atrocities by bridging the gap between old and new regimes during democratic transitions. It signifies the shift from conflict to peace and political reforms through peaceful means....The state-of-the-art paper proposes a departure from the traditional four-pillar transitional justice model, instead rationalizing the confluence of six pillars: truth, vetting, reparation, prosecution, guarantee of non-recurrence, and justice policies.... Justice is truthful, fair, impartial, and just behavior. It guides distributive, retributive, and restorative justice efforts in transitional justice. This paper presents the 57th series of the author’s theoretical work on transitional justice, based on the principle of “I know that I do not know” or “I am simply a student for this study,” allowing for ongoing refinement.
