The University of Missouri Trulaske College of Business CEI is on the Road! As part of a four week "Technology Potpourri" course, Sophia Rivera Hassemer has been teaching a group of older adults at Osher about rapid prototyping, programing and robotics. Tomorrow is the "360 Video" camera session, and then it will be designing and printing 3D objects! If you don't know about Osher, it is a great program of the University of Missouri Extension (link in comments).

Just got done reading "3 Common Archetypes of Employees Who Commit Fraud" in the Harvard Business Review by Kelly Richmond Pope, CPA and my University of Missouri Trulaske College of Business colleague Vairam Arunachalam ! Highly recommend. While I talk about #scams and #Fraud (especially when committed using technology in one form or another), I normally think of it from the victim side. This article has got me thinking about how to "flip the script" and think about what archetypes perpetuate deepfakes (political, chaos seekers, revenge seekers, etc.). Are there choke or decision points where these people can be "headed off at the pass" so to speak. This will have me thinking for a while. The Fall Semester is upon us and we couldn't be more excited. Today Faculty and Staff attended a "Amanda Prints in 3D" workshop where they learned about the 3D printing resources in the University of Missouri Trulaske College of Business Innovation Space, and how to quickly get started. Lead by Sophia Rivera Hassemer and Amanda O'Loughlin (or O'Laughlin 😊 as we say), it was a great way to launch the new semester. Thanks to everyone who stopped !
