The Need for Practice Grounds | Michelle Holliday https://buff.ly/44KQmXY "What is called for is not an all-purpose checklist or a set of best practices, but an action-learning orientation, enabling people to listen and respond to the unfolding story of the organization as it happens. What is needed is an ongoing and active practice of stewardship." This includes learning spaces integrated into an entangled life where its stories have a place. Creating space and time to learn and focus on not only changing the system but also ourselves when the demands of our world drag us away.

TREES DO NETWORKING TOO?🌳 #FunFactsFriday Did you know that through their roots and something called mycorrhizal networks, plants can actually communicate with each other? I came across this fun fact after seeing it pop up on my FYP (thanks, World Environmental Health Day 🌎), and I thought “How cool is it that plants are out here networking like human?!” Turns out trees can interpret sound, respond to touch, recognize their own kin, and when danger comes their way, they work together to protect themselves. THIS IS TEAMWORK! So, if trees know how to communicate and help each other, why don’t we? In teams, communication should work both ways – sharing knowledge, supporting each other, and growing together. If only one side or a person is getting all the benefits, we call that a parasite, and no one likes that! Remember, when team members communicate well, everyone thrives – just like in nature! 🌱 Oh another fun fact: plants can improve our productivity by 15%!
