Center for Primary Care’s Post

🎉 Retirement Announcement! 🎉 We are excited to announce the retirement of Christine Cummings, after 37 years of dedicated service at McDuffie Medical Associates and the Center for Primary Care in McDuffie. Christine has been a cornerstone of our community, providing exceptional care and building lasting relationships. She earned her Practical Nurse Degree from Augusta Technical College in 1972 and currently resides in Thomson, Georgia. Christine cherishes her family, which includes two children, two grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. She is also an active member of Greater St. James A.M.E. Church. Christine enjoys spending time with her family, doing word search puzzles, listening to music, and watching Matlock, Wheel of Fortune, and Gunsmoke. One of her favorite Bible verses is Proverbs 3:5-6, which she has embodied throughout her career: "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." Christine has held various positions at McDuffie Medical Associates and the Center for Primary Care, including Nurse for Dr. John Lemley, Nurse Supervisor, Chronic Care Management, and Lab Assistant. Her dedication, eagerness to learn, and leadership have left an indelible mark on all of us. Join us in wishing Christine the best in her retirement! 🌟
