From glittering capitals to dangerous locations, #CIA operations officers are at work right now, across the globe, to uncover the information needed to keep Americans safe. While many fictional films, TV shows, and books have been written about the history of spies and spying, most are widely fantastical and bear little resemblance to the actual work of gathering human intelligence. Now is your chance to delve into the shadows with us to uncover the real and fascinating history of what is probably the most well-known, but often misunderstood, directorate at CIA: the Directorate of Operations. https://lnkd.in/diz8rsDB #InsideCIA #TheDirectorates #Operations

Great article. Nice line: facial recognition, artificial intelligence, and digital dust...also make conducting clandestine operations even more difficult.

I believe that most people always have misconceptions about the work of others. Be it a secret service agent, a captain, a pilot, a doctor or a firefighter. Even our work as researchers is certainly often seen differently than it really is. Our lives are often accompanied by far too many misconceptions. It starts on vacation, when you come back from Venice disappointed. That's what happened to me and my wife. When we were in Venice. But that applies to almost all of our vacation trips. In the few beautiful places in the world, you meet thousands of others who also want to admire the beauty.

The agents do most of the hard work! As someone who wants to be an analyst instead, we understand how everyone has different roles that allow us to stay in the van. #agent #analyst #CIA #operations #veteran #armyreserve

If you are “intelligence” and you can’t tell that this is deliberate jumbled up bullshit you’re a fucking moron. Get back in your lane.

If not, for the people who possess the intelligence agencies and the intelligence of the aristocracies of the Anglosphere meaning Great Britain, United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand. If not for these people, there would never be any communism ever nor would they have ever been eugenics and Nazi science or Planned Parenthood. They prove themselves that you don’t have a right to think for yourself. The whole world argues about capitalism and communism scapegoating inherent human greed on capitalism while we use crony capitalism and corporatocracy to impose communism. don’t you get it? Every socialist revolution has been led by an aristocrat. And now we live in such a dystopian world of idiocy that you don’t have to be aristocrat to be so far removed from reality that just being a stupid person is enough to be entitled to other people survival. what was Hitler Stalin Churchill and hero Hito number one concern for all of World War II no matter what was going on it was how are we going to fund this war? All of the money is the same and since we started stamping the likeness of our leaders on precious metals, that money is never left the planet once.
