Entry is open now - but why should you enter the Free From Awards? The trust gained from potential customers is especially important in the free from sector where the integrity of your product and manufacturing processes can mean inclusive, tasty experiences for an otherwise often marginalised community.... 🌟 Stand Out From the Competition - differentiate your product or brand – our logo is instantly recognisable to and resonates with consumers, helping them identify safe, quality products, providing reasons to try something new. 🌟 Enhanced Credibility - entering demonstrates a strong belief in a product which instils consumer confidence hence the value in displaying a logo. 🌟 Continuous Improvement - expert judges & invaluable bespoke feedback – every product is judged by a carefully curated panel ensuring all aspects of the product are considered, supporting your NPD. A unique collaboration We are unique in the collaborative approach we take with every entrant. We actively encourage entrants to fully leverage the benefits of entering and to take a proactive role, sharing their ideas and suggestions and working together to add genuine value to entrants, making the awards a pivotal part of their brand and/or activation strategies.

WSET Educator Development Manager Educator, Communicator, & Entertainer. Ambassador Viña Ventisquero Ambassador Flavours Of Spain Panel Chair: The Independent English Wine Awards Cohost The Maker & The Merchant
Do you want to get your new year off with a bang? Do you value the thoughtful and reasoned input of two seasoned, rational, articulate wine professionals? Do you want up to date pop culture references? Then look elsewhere. The Maker And The Merchant are back! In imperious form too. Having not yet quite recovered from Christmas debauchery, "winemaker" Fergus Elias & I tackle the big issues of the day head on. What were our best presents? What are our hopes and dreams for 2024. And just what do consumers have against mushroom shaped corks? Amongst those hopes for 2024 is that my Not Yet Comedy night in support of The Not Yet Named Wine Co goes well; head to NYNWC's website to grab yourself one of the few remaining tickets. Ferg talks up three exciting new releases from Balfour Winery, while we also explore a brand new potential fault in wine that neither of us have heard of. This involves some serious, big league named dropping by Fergus. Not in the least so he can thank the always brilliant Mike Best MW for sending him a top Christmas bottle. We touch on the very serious issues facing catering and hospitality and urge you to get out to support your local bars and restaurants as well as the usual mixture of chat, horrendous jokes, and wondering how Ferg can top this year's Christmas present he gave to our dear listener. Wishing you all a wonderful 2024...let's be honest, if it's starting here, it can only get "better".

Have you ever been to a summer festival where one food truck is always busy? It has long queues all day and outsells everyone else? That's because they are doing something different. They do 1 thing incredibly well. Woodfire pizza. One size. Three choices. Kids. Adults. Vegan. Done. They know their audience. They know where they are selling. Other food trucks serve great food, but there is too much choice. Other food trucks do one thing, but the quality, service, and vibe aren't as good. Their queues are shorter because word of mouth isn't buzzing. Do one thing; do it well. Consider this and be like the wood-fired pizza food truck when you speak at your next event. Most speakers use a conference talk to share a list of tips. 4 / 6 / 8 / 12 - I know, I used to do the same. Stop. Don't do this. Tell one story of a moment in your success/career when, against the odds, you won. This is what people want. This is what they will remember. This is the wood fire pizza. When your talk is sharing a list of tips your audience feels like they are staring at the menu board of a food truck with too many choices. Too many choices / too much information means they remember nothing. Plus it's not what they came to the conference for. A conference is a full-on day. Lots to do and see. Which talk to attend? What to miss? Got to get the quality networking in. If you give a 20-minute talk and the event is 6 hours, your talk is less than 6% of the time. Plus, there are generally simultaneous talks in different rooms. So your 6% competes with other professionals' 6%. Just like a festival, the audience needs to choose which band they watch - which food truck they buy from. And which they don't. Keep it simple. Tell that story you have lived. Avoid educating and explaining. GPTS and blogs do that. Inspire and motivate. What to know how Shelley did it? Join me on June 19th at 12.30 UK time for a free webinar. Paid tickets are available that come with resources and coaching. If speaking at events is part of your BD for 2024 / 25, then join me. 🍴 Food sampling at events: It's a thing.🍴 When it comes to planning events, there's one thing that can truly make a difference – FOOD! 🍔🍕 🌮🍰 Whether it's a festival, conference, or corporate gathering, food sampling can lift the entire experience for your attendees. We know people LOVE it. But here's the thing. It's very likely that you'll need a permit to serve food to people, and that includes mini tasting samples. The other consideration is you may need to bring in additional equipment for the safe food handling and services of the food. 🚛 So before you say yes to that sponsor who wants to activate their brand, take a moment to check that you have the logistics and permits sorted. Follow us @eventkit for more tips and tactics. Let's take your events to yummier places together! 🚀🌮 #EventKit #EventPlanning #FoodSampling #EventExperiences #EventSuccess #EventKit #EventProfs
