I know recently appointments have been canceled with out a phone call or text message and the only reason I found out was because a appointment list was emailed to me of my up coming appointments. This is unsat and yes I'm young but what about our older and not computer savvy Veterans. They would have showed up for their appointment and wasted fuel (would have not been reimburse for the trip) and time. When I called yes they worked me in but so of these appointments take 2 to 3 months to be rescheduled again. This is not acceptable. VA needs to do better by its Veterans and the why they apply logic to these practices. Hiring a Veteran would help in many of these situations. Veterans understand what Veterans have gone through and can relate to many of their situations Help Veterans Signup out with your latest situations. Knowledge is power in combating out VA and other Veterans related issues.

CEO & Founder of Birdwatcher Group | Global Security Expert | Innovator in Intelligence Solutions | Specializing in Counter-Terrorism, Cybersecurity, & International Relations | 20+ Years in Dutch Intelligence
How would intelligence agencies deal with a ‘post-Biden’ era? What if after the upcoming presidential elections in the US, other NATO countries can no longer undoubtedly shelter under the American security umbrella? Will European powers ‘stand up to the occasion’ and supply our nuclear deterrence safety? Would Trump as president be a reason to turn our backs on a lifetime of Transatlantic friendship and alliance? Should we be keeping tabs on friends? This article by Intelligenceonline covers France’s intention to create a ‘watchdog’ to improve their understanding of the US military and technology ecosystem. By doing so, France hopes to single out key individuals and institutions of the US industrial defence landscape. This carefully worded phrasing is aimed to sound like it entails a strategic watch, rather than active information gathering by openly working on the ‘leader of the free world’. However, a less politically correct analyst might call this “friend spying on friend”. The potential reason for this, motivated by a need for more autonomy within the European NATO community due to threatening US isolationism, can easily be understood. However, should we want to act in this way towards an alliance that has helped maintain decades of peace on most of the European continent? Is the Netherlands going to join a strategic shift away from the transatlantic focus that we have always known in our lifetimes? These are interesting questions that our intelligence community and politicians should be discussing over the next few months in constructive debate. To be continued for sure….. Following the suggestion from Ben; I used NotebookLM to explain the three key documents for NZDF's publicly Statement of Intent, Future force design, and Defence Policy Review. This was the results (NotebookLM may still sometimes give inaccurate responses, so you may want to confirm any facts independently). Summary The provided document is the 2024-2028 Statement of Intent from the New Zealand Ministry of Defence. It outlines the organization’s strategic intentions, focusing on the government's priorities and outlining its vision for a credible defense partner. The document details the Ministry’s role in procuring major military equipment, advising on defense policy and deployments, and fostering strong relationships with both domestic agencies and international partners. It also discusses the Ministry’s operating environment, highlighting increasing strategic competition and the implications of climate change. The document concludes with a description of the Ministry’s governance structure, values, and commitment to investing in its people and embracing a digital future. 17min AI generated conversation about these documents (quite impressive): https://lnkd.in/gMKeAVJN I welcome your thoughts on this.

Navy work going to a Turkish supplier, which is 46% owned by GE in a joint venture with what appears to be the Turkish military. Well, the Navy posted the contract on SAM and the company bid on it. Maybe this is part of keeping Turkey happy. "Tusas Motor Sanayii A.S., Tusas Engine Industries, Inc., Tepebasi, Eskisehir, Turkey is awarded an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, firm-fixed-price contract with firm-fixed-price task order provisions, for depot level overhaul of LM2500 Single Shank Turbine Gas Generators. The contract ceiling is not to exceed $45,643,682. Work under this contract will take place at the contractor's facility in Eskisehir, Turkey, and is expected to be completed by October 2026. The contract will have a 14-month ordering period. Fiscal 2024 operations and maintenance (Navy) funding in the total amount of $500 (minimum guarantee per contract) will be obligated at time of award via an initial individual task order and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract results from utilization of "Rolling Admissions" procedures to add additional multiple award contract (MAC) holders under an existing MAC program. This contract was competitively procured using full and open competition via the www.sam.gov website, with three offers received. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is the contracting activity (N64498-24-D-4006)."

🎙️ 'The Axis' is out on Amwaj.media. Join Ali Hashem and Mohammad Ali Shabani as they discuss two significant topics that are shaping the region as we know it. There is Operation ‘True Promise’: Iran's unprecedented drone and missile strike on Israel on April 14. What were its aims? Was it intended to kill? Who pushed for it? And most importantly, what can we expect next? Then there is the dealmaking that could reshape the region: Israeli-Saudi normalization, Iran-US 'de-escalation', and forging an economic dimension to the Iranian-Saudi rapprochement. In all three cases, the key to progress lies in an end to the Gaza war and US concessions. #iran #saudiarabia #normalization #gazawar #security
