I just posted a Senior Data Science role and had over 300 applicants in the first 2 hours... 😵💫 But here's what you dont see, that a significant number of those applicants didn’t meet even the minimum qualifications or had zero relevant experience to the tech stack. Applying for roles without specific qualifications doesn’t just hurt your chances for that role it could damage your credibility for future opportunities. So, what does this tell us about the job market right now? ✔️ Times are tough, and people want their applications to stand out. ✔️ Job seekers are taking chances, hoping to catch a recruiter’s eye. My advice? 💡 Don’t waste your energy on roles you’re not aligned with. Instead, take the time to tailor your applications for positions where you can genuinely shine. That’s how you create an impact. Remember, it’s not about applying for every role it’s about applying for the right one.
