Centre for Research in Schemes & Policies (CRISP)’s Post

Based on invitation of Syed Akbaruddin, a celebrated diplomat of India and now Dean Kautilya School of Public Policy, CRISP team has conducted a 3-credit core course named "Public Policy in practice in India" for the Master of Public Policy students of Kautilya School of Public Policy. The course was divided into 4 modules – (1) Rural Development (2) Education (3) Health and (4) Skill development, and involved 24 lectures (30 hours of teaching), by Members and team of CRISP, using original case studies prepared by CRISP Members. We were impressed with the leadership and the quality of students, and wish them well.

Thank you @CRISP for curating such a wide-ranging course for our students. Learning from an array of India’s leading civil servants and development experts has been an experience that our students will always cherish. The enormous efforts that the CRISP team has put in to ensure the success of the course is a testimony to their unique work culture, values and leadership. We at the Kautilya School of Public Policy are deeply grateful to @CRISP . We wish them all success and hope that our students and many others too continue to benefit from their expertise and experience. 🙏🏽

Reflecting as an ex-student, I'm deeply appreciative of Syed Akbaruddin and KSPP management for championing the crucial collaboration with CRISP. This synergy ensures that courses like ours in public policy remain relevant and impactful in addressing real-world challenges. Kudos to Kautilya student as well. Let's continue advocating for the significance of such collaborations in shaping the future of public policy and beyond!

No public policy stands until and unless the policymaker must be put on a practical test to have the taste of his own medicine. That particular policy maker or babu has to be among the crowd facing hassles for his turn to go roundabout or run from pillar to post to complete the loop of bureaucratic quagmire.
