✨APPRECIATION POST✨ A bit overdue on the post, but next up is the man who took A risk and believed in me, even though we lived on different continents. Sam Whittam, then CEO of Adventure HQ in the Middle East gave me a crash course on international retail. From him I learnt: 1. Back yourself, even when others don’t 2. You are never to senior to get your hands dirty and stay close to your customer 3. It is good to take risks. Aknowledge when they dont work, and fix it fast, and when they do work, celebrate and build. 4. Even though work is serious business, there is always a place and time to have fun and live your passion. 5. Living and breathing the brand you work for, makes work not feel like work and customers can feel that in their in-store experience.
