🌟 DataTalent Participant Project Highlights 🌟 💡 Our DataTalent program offers Canadian employers the opportunity to connect with outstanding data professionals through fully subsidized internships and projects. DataTalent Program is powered by Upskill Canada and the Government of Canada. Palette Skills 👥 Highlighting: Pichayoot's Project! ➡️ Project Description: In this project, Pichayoot compared two popular computer vision architecture, namely vision transformer and convolutional neural network, to classify melanoma image as benign or malignant. Pichayoot then used Grad-CAM to try to gain insight into how these models make predictions! 📊🩺👏🏼 https://lnkd.in/gSecaZK5

Hi Network, As the 2nd week of my internship begins I wanted to share my reflections from my first week at Prostate Cancer UK as a Health Data Analyst intern! 🌟 From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by an incredibly passionate and talented team committed to our mission: #LeaveNoManBehind. Meeting such diverse and inspiring individuals has been a fantastic experience, and I already feel a strong sense of belonging and purpose! Here are some highlights from last week: 👥 This week has been jam-packed with learning about the company, my team and our objectives and Prostate Cancer. I have had the opportunity to connect with colleagues from across the organization who have all been incredibly friendly and meet our CEO, Laura Kerby, whose insights and knowledge were incredibly inspiring, it is amazing to see leadership so engaged and supportive! 📊 My team has been super supportive in helping me smoothly integrate into Prostate Cancer UK. Joining various meetings and interactive sessions has been incredibly insightful and I have already gained valuable knowledge about our initiatives and the impact we're striving to make. Did you know 1 in 4 Black men in the UK get diagnosed with prostate cancer? Understanding more about the critical work being done has been incredibly eye-opening. 💡I was introduced to the project I’ll be working on throughout the next couple of weeks which I will present to my department at the end of my internship. The project is incredibly interesting and impactful, and I’m enthusiastic about the opportunity to make a meaningful difference. I’m also eager to learn from my colleagues throughout this exciting journey! A key takeaway from my first week: Do not hesitate to ask questions, even if they seem simple. I initially found myself getting lost in the terminology, concepts and abbreviations and quickly discovered the importance of finding a balance between proactiveness and transparency. The more you ask, the more you learn! I’m incredibly excited for the weeks ahead and can't wait to continue this journey with Prostate Cancer UK! #HealthData #ProstateCancerUK #LeaveNoManBehind #healthdataanalystintern #week1internshipreview #blackinternprog

🚀 Exciting Update! I'm thrilled to share that I have successfully completed Task 4 of my internship at Internpe: Breast Cancer Detection Prediction using machine learning! 🎉 During this task, I: Explored and preprocessed a comprehensive breast cancer dataset. Developed and fine-tuned a machine learning model to accurately predict the presence of breast cancer. Analyzed model performance using various metrics and visualization techniques. This experience has greatly enhanced my skills in data analysis, model building, and predictive analytics. I'm grateful to Internpe for providing such an enriching opportunity. Stay tuned for more updates from my journey in the AI/ML domain! #MachineLearning #AI #DataScience #Internship #BreastCancerDetection #Internpe #PredictiveAnalytics

I am a dedicated and analytical professional with a Master’s degree in Physics, complemented by a comprehensive certification in Data Science and Machine learning.
I'm thrilled to share my first task as part of my Machine Learning Internship at CognoRise Infotech. 📍 # Task 1: Breast cancer Classification This project aims to build a machine learning model to predict whether a tumor is malignant or benign based on dataset of diagnostic features. Here, I used the classification algorithms such as K-Nearest Neighbors(KNN), Random Forest Classifier, Logistic Regression and Decision Tree Classifier for appropriate model building and further evaluations. The project utilizes machine learning techniques to assist in the early detection and diagnosis of breast cancer. Through this project ,I was able to gain deep knowledge regarding the power of machine learning in healthcare industry. By improving early diagnostic accuracy, ML models like these can save lives by facilitating timely treatments. A huge thank you and gratitude to the team CognoRise Infotech for giving me such an opportunity to work with. #machinelearning #cognorise #datascience #internship
