🚀 Today we will see the launch of the European Space Agency - ESA Arctic Weather Satellite, carrying an AAC Clyde Space innovative scientific weather payload, designed and built by our team in #Gothenburg. The satellite built by OHB Sweden also utilises our power system and on-board computer built by our team in #Uppsala. This prototype mission which will launch on board a Space X Falcon 9 later tonight aims to demonstrate the usefulness of radiometric measurements to improve weather forecasts in the #Arctic region and globally. 🛰 https://lnkd.in/e4aAqr6C The same Falcon 9 rocket will also carry Sedna-1, a #satellite built by our team in Fairfax, to be added to our in-orbit constellation, for #maritime #tracking #data. 👀 Launch will be at 11:20 a.m. PT (8.20pm CET).
