Introducing DRIVEN TOGETHER: Ceres' Inaugural Black History Month Celebration! Last week, we kicked off #BlackHistoryMonth at Ceres with great enthusiasm and a commitment to recognising and celebrating the incredible contributions of Black individuals in the energy tech sector. Black History Month is more than just a calendar event; it's an opportunity for all of us to acknowledge the Black innovators, scientists, engineers, and pioneers who have left an indelible mark on the energy and power landscape. Their knowledge, skills, and innovative ideas have not only shaped our industry but have also propelled us towards a more sustainable and inclusive future. We're dedicated to shining a light on the proud history of Black excellence in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (#STEM). Together, we can inspire future generations to pursue careers in these vital fields. Throughout this month, we'll be showcasing the incredible achievements of our own team members who continue to drive innovation and progress here at @Ceres. #BHM2023 is a call to celebrate the achievements of Black scientists, engineers, and innovators both past and present, and most importantly, recognise that we still have a long way to go. Let's use this month as a catalyst for meaningful change, for a brighter and more inclusive future for all. Today, Ceres proudly celebrates the tenth annual National Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Day. This day highlights the tremendous versatility of hydrogen and fuel cell technologies to reduce carbon emissions, generate domestic energy, and help decarbonise heavy industries, all while driving economic growth and prosperity. Observed on October 8 (10.08), in recognition of hydrogen's atomic weight—1.008—National Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Day underscores hydrogen's role in fuelling sectors across the U.S., from transportation to stationary power and industrial applications. Hydrogen is crucial for enhancing energy security, resilience, and economic strength as we transition to clean energy solutions. At Ceres, we are at the forefront of clean energy innovation. Our solid oxide platform technology leads the way in electrolysis for green hydrogen production and fuel cells for power generation. These solutions support the electrification of energy systems and offer high-efficiency pathways to decarbonise industries that are hardest to abate. As appetite to achieve net zero targets increase, industry require a clear roadmap to guide their commitments. Achieving net zero often entails significant engineering and infrastructure transformations, which will take time, money and resource to achieve. Ceres, a leader in clean energy technology, enabling the world’s most progressive companies to decarbonise at the scale and pace, has leveraged AtkinsRéalis’ global expertise and capabilities in hydrogen across the full value chain to identify industrial use case for Ceres’ unique solid oxide electrolyser (#SOEC) technology. Together the two companies are developing an electrolyser module and commercially scalable green hydrogen plant design based on the highly efficient Ceres SteelCell® electrolyser technology. Let’s take a look at how the scalable plant building block is differentiated from low temperature water electrolyser plant designs. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/eUBBR3kZ Clean energy starts with technology #CleanEnergy #NetZero #Engineering #technology #CleanTech #Decarbonisation #Hydrogen #ValueChain #SolidOxide #Electrolyser #SOEC #ElectrolyserModule #GreenHydrogen #HydrogenPlant
