I believe AI agent workflows will drive massive progress this year, potentially even outpacing the advancements in next-gen foundation models. This is a trend everyone in AI should watch closely. Currently, we use LLMs in zero-shot mode, where models generate outputs in one go, akin to writing an essay without revisions. While LLMs perform remarkably well, an agent workflow can iterate over documents, significantly improving the quality of results. Here's a typical agent workflow: 1 - Plan an outline. 2 - Conduct necessary web searches for information. 3 - Write a first draft. 4 - Review the draft for errors or extraneous info. 5- Revise based on the review. This iterative process mirrors how humans write and greatly enhances AI output quality.
