Digital health has the potential to contribute enormously to healthcare delivery and improve patient outcomes, yet the reimbursement pathways for digital health in Asia-Pacific are not well defined and follow existing value frameworks that are mostly incompatible. This is leading to no/low coverage and health inequities in access to digital health. Our latest whitepaper, co-authored by Asia Pacific Medical Technology Association (APACMed), sheds light on the current state of reimbursement in key Asia-Pacific markets and contrasts it with much better access to digital health in European countries. Discover insights and perspectives of policymakers, experts, and academics from Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Australia, Germany, France, and the UK. I help SNFs get paid for Part B supplies. • We don’t get paid unless you do • Supplies pay for themselves • No upfront cost
People want a fix to crazy healthcare prices Unfortunately, they focus on quick wins. I'm not convinced. Not when it comes to healthcare costs. While many disagree with me, I think there's "secret sauce"? Disrupt the status quo. Play the long game! This long game → Accountability. Enforcement. Affordability. Think accountability, not confusion. Think enforcement, not laissez-faire Think affordability, not profits over people Here's my advice: + Prioritize preventive care. + Increase telehealth access. + Eliminate pharmacy gag rules. + Expand access to generic drugs. + Keep the donut-hole relief in place. + Allow safe importation of cheaper drugs. + Standardize pricing for simple comparison. + Disclose all healthcare related costs up front. + Empower consumers to compare prices everywhere. Quick fixes are a nice dopamine fix, but they won't solve the this issue. Win the long game, my friends. P.S. What's your top strategy for improving healthcare price transparency?
