WelcomeLend recently shipped a feature I love that’s 2x’d our response rates from lenders and wanted to briefly share it.We call it “deal preview” and here’s how it works: 1) When we share a deal with a lender they get instant access without logging in. They can explore the full OM and financial model (minus any sensitive documents or information we choose to obscure). No painful multi-step account setup, “claim your company”, request access, etc. 2) We ask one question – Are you interested in the deal, yes or no? We record the answer and use it to train our matching algo about lender preferences and behavior. 3) We notify the deal owner right when a lender previews a deal. Our team can reach out at the highest intent moment when a lender is engaged and answer question or get more feedback in real time. It’s win-win. It’s less work for lenders and we get more responses, quotes, and better data to learn about lender preferences.

2023 was a transformative year for real-time payments in the United States.
