The Language Compass | Game Localization Specialist translating from English and German into Italian
As you can see below, Bureau 81 published its newest title, The Operator, on Steam! I took care of the Italian localization with Gaia and Elena as a member of Localize It! and let me tell you why I deeply enjoyed working on this title: 1. I had a Steam key to check the game while translating (and forgot I was working while trying to find clues to solve crimes) 💻 2. I translated some highly technical content, such as manuals and medical reports, which is both challenging and intriguing 📑 3. I got to be reviewed by Elena, which means having direct feedback from her on top of checking her changes on the files 🗣 4. I got my daily dose of jokes and humor from Elena and Gaia 😆 I feel very lucky to be able to work with this team because every project is a unique learning experience and all the professionals I get to work with are great people. I am extremely happy to have the chance to grow more and more as a person and a professional.
