🌟 Sacramento's Big Day of Giving 2024 is just 2 weeks away but early giving starts today! We're excited to spotlight Meristem and asked Emma, 1st year at Meristem, what she's likes about Meristem: "Community!" We couldn't love her answer more. Meristem is where life long friendships are made and students feel a sense of belonging. For some students, it's the first time they've had that. 💙 Give early, learn more about our program, set up a fundraiser page to help us spread the word about our program or give early by visiting our Big Day of Giving webpage: https://lnkd.in/gYR2D49X 💡 BDOG tip: Give with a Golden 1 Credit Union debit or credit card, and your donations will make an outsized impact, because Golden 1 Credit Union is proportionately matching its members' donations — up to $100,000! 🗓️ Mark your calendars for Meristem's in-person Big Day of Giving garden & nature event. More details to come. #AwakenthePossible #BigDayofGiving2024 #bdog24 #Sacramento #Nonprofit #AutismAwareness #AutismAwarenessMonth #Give #WorkSkills #Transition #LifeSkills #Program

Ever wonder what the items donated to #ShareOurSpare mean to the families and kids who receive them? We hear frequently from partners that for their clients, receiving items feels like they’re not in it alone! They feel apart of a community that cares about them and their kids, even without knowing them personally. The impact of feeling cared about, seen, supported and important is hard to describe in words, but if you’ve felt it, you know how powerful it is! Giving is always good...

The kids are doing their annual color run fundraiser... Thanks to my LinkedIn friends who donated last year! They had so many states and countries represented, and I'm hopeful you'll help again this year! It's Vinny, Nico, Stella and Luna... they all attend Cox Elementary and the $ raised goes toward some meaningful school improvements, we're halfway to the goal. If you have the capacity to donate, even a very small amount, it would be so appreciated and once again illustrate the power of network. The kiddos don't have a ton of family beyond our home... so they have lots of "uncles" and "aunts"... by way of who I know, who will spoil them like their own. So if you need "kids" to love on... these are them! Not everyone can donate... I know and trust me, I get it... But, consider a share? Give this a like so more people see it? And comment your support so that the very MOST people do. Maybe they'll be able to join in the giving. The pics on the fundraiser page are with all of their teachers, right before the holiday break... and the pic below is them this week, celebrating "crazy sock day" for THIS #fundraiser. Our school has over 90 countries represented (In Austin, TX) and I'm proud of the work the school does to support inclusivity and belonging for our very diverse international population of students and community. #fundraiser #notthehrlady #kids #workingparent #network

For all the skeptic thoughts about crypto currencies, digital identities, tokens or Web3, here's a fine real usecase of token usage for impact. The ability to give instantly, to exchange value that can be utilised for daily life activities and align with sustainability goals is incredibly valuable and powerful.
I’m turning my bike rides into smiles 😄 Donated this week's MOBX tokens to buy bikes for underprivileged children. Let's ride together for a brighter future! 🚲 ⭐ #Cycle2Donate MOBIX https://lnkd.in/e3eDpsEh
