𝗗𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄? The CFR engine became the 𝟰𝟵𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗦𝗠𝗘 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸 in 1980. It also became the 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸 due to international interests in the engine.
That's awesome! I went to their facility in Milwaukee for training and saw the actual thing! Visited their historic club where they also have one of the Waukesha engines preserved from the World Trade Centre.
