Delegate tasks under £50.00 per hour. I vividly remember handling everything from VAT returns to marketing materials solo when starting Prime Connect. While DIY may seem cost-effective, time is your most valuable asset. Starting lean is crucial, but as you grow, letting go becomes essential. Today, we outsource website management, marketing, bookkeeping, Telecom appointment setting, and project management. My only task under £50.00 left unassigned? → Writing LinkedIn content. Is that wrong? --------- Disclaimer - The £50.00 is obviously dependent on your size and industry, but you get my point!
Lol, guess I'll just have to delegate my whole job...😂. But in all seriousness, great point!
Love this, Chaim Grunfeld! Every founder needs to wear all (or most) of the hats in a company in the beginning. Congrats on growing beyond that in so many ways! I'm curious: were there any challenges in handing off some of these tasks initially?
Chaim, with that mindset is why lots of people have a PA, to deal with all those little things that can take hours of your time.
Chaim Grunfeld It's difficult to outsource and delegate a business that you have nurtured and grown - well done! There are different camps on writing LI content. I think the content should be yours and the presentation/graphics outsourced if necessary.
Chaim Grunfeld you forgot to mention IT support 😉
Good insight!
Everything should be delegated apart from writing the cheques.. There's no such thing as too much swagger

3moTime is very important, especially for a start-up and if you have revenue coming in then yes, definitely there is value in delegating time consuming micro tasks.
