Watching a tutorial is going to show you the happy path. It's not going to show you: - The hours spent debugging why something didn't work. - Understanding why the docs didn't align with what you actually needed to do. - How to handle different edge cases. And that's why you can't just watch a tutorial and have learned what it's teaching you. Only by trying it out yourself will you learn how to work with the non happy path.

Full-Stack Developer(MERN) | Passionate about JavaScript, React.js, Next.js, Express.js, MongoDB, and Prisma ORM | Building efficient web applications
How do I learn any new technology? At first I watch a much more detaild crash course as well as do code. Then, I go though the official docs sequentially in depth and practice another project. If I read the doc first without watching any crash course, I cannot relate what I'm reading. But, after watching any crash course, I can relate what I'm reading with what I did in the couse. As a result, I don't lose concentration for long time. And this is my way to grasp the whole thing easily. But, I usually follow the doc first if it’s any small library. #learning_new_technology
