I am excited to start working on my external master’s thesis in the Quantum Simulation Group (QSim) headed by Prof. Dr. Tobias Schätz at Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg im Breisgau as my final phase of master’s studies at the Technical University of Munich. My thesis will focus on studying techniques for optical ion trapping. This aligns with the endeavor to establish a hybrid platform for quantum simulations, overcoming existing limitations associated with RF heating, while enabling long-range interactions between charged particles.

At the halfway point of the 36-months project, the Domino-E consortium is meeting today in Toulouse and online. 🧑💻 👨💻 👩💻 The partners are updating each other on the development of the Dominoes that Domino-E is contributing to the Domino architecture for Earth observation ground segments. 🛰️ Domino-E is developing a Coverage Service Domino, a Satellite Communication and Resources Management Domino, and a User Access Domino. The result is three modular building blocks for innovative EO ground segments that make European EO services more efficient and accessible. Here is an overview of the Domino architecture and the contribution of Domino-E. 🁶 #EarthObservation #EO #FutureSpaceEcosystems #EUinSpace European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA) Airbus Defence and Space Tilde ~ ITTI GMV ONERA - The French Aerospace Lab Capgemini Oikoplus

Reviewing our recent research contributions two which we hadn’t gotten around to reading in full until recently are Architecture and Design for Industry 4.0 Theory and Practice where our Lotus Aeroad tensegrity was heavily featured and Industry 4.0 for the Built Environment Methodologies, Technologies and Skills where we contributed to a paper on Advanced Applications in Computational Design kindly authored by Peter Debney. Both are on Springer and include some amazing work by international academics and practitioners. Recommended. https://lnkd.in/edQpGiQA https://lnkd.in/eNFnR3J8 https://lnkd.in/e8yv3YAn #research #researchanddevelopment #researchpublication #structuralengineering #tensegrity #computationaldesign
