Take Our Kids to Work Day at Challenger! This past Wednesday, we had an amazing time welcoming our team members’ grade nine students for an up-close experience in the world of transportation! They tested their skills on our driving simulator, tackled some fun trucking trivia, and job-shadowed their parents to see firsthand what a day in trucking is all about. We hope this experience sparked inspiration and showed them the exciting possibilities of a future in the transportation industry!

See the below post on the most important thing you can do every single time you get in a vehicle, click your seatbelt.
Seat belts save lives—it's a fact. Whether you're driving your own vehicle, sitting in the back seat of a rideshare, or catching a cab, wearing a seat belt can make the difference between life and death. While front-seat passengers often buckle up automatically, it's equally important for those in the back seat to do the same. No matter where you’re sitting, a crash can throw you forward with force, causing severe injury to yourself and others. So next time you hop into a vehicle, whether you're in the front or back, make sure you're buckled up. ☑ All passengers, no matter where seated (front or back) ☑ In the back seat of a rideshare (Uber, Lyft, etc.) ☑ In the back seat of a taxi ☑ In company fleet vehicles ☑ On short trips—every trip, every time ☑ In all states or countries Remember: Buckling up is the simplest, most effective way to protect yourself in any vehicle. "It's only 5km/h faster and you might drive into a moose" I spent last Thursday at Driveland, and let me tell you—it was an eye-opener. 🌧️🏁 Watching people push themselves and their cars on a wet track was both thrilling and a reminder of how important it is to hone your driving skills. It’s not just about having fun (though there was plenty of that)—it’s about learning how to handle the unexpected. Skid control, braking under pressure, and mastering cornering in low-grip conditions—these are the kinds of skills that can make all the difference in a real-world emergency. Seeing the improvement in just one session was incredible. It got me thinking: wouldn’t it be amazing if everyone had the chance to take lessons like this? Knowing how to stay in control, even in the trickiest situations, could make our roads so much safer. What do you think—should advanced driving lessons be something everyone takes at some point? Let’s hear your thoughts ⬇️

🚛🚗 Had a few days to digest my Fleet & Mobility Live experiences 🚗🚛 My key takeaway? The role of a fleet manager has never been more complex... It’s no longer just about vehicles and routes. Fleet managers are now dealing with sustainability targets, data analysis, compliance, HR, and even becoming a chemistry and electricity experts regarding battery technologies. The responsibilities have expanded significantly, demanding a broader skill set and deeper involvement throughout the company. At Volteum, we recognize these growing challenges and are dedicated to supporting fleet managers every step of the way. When it comes to e-mobility, our mission is to simplify the transition and help navigate the complexities, so they can focus on driving the business forward. Looking forward to continuing the conversation and pushing the industry forward together! 🚀 #FleetMobility #FleetManagement #Emobility #Volteum #FleetAndMobilityLive #Sustainability #Innovation
⚡Excited to be in Birmingham for Fleet & Mobility Live! 💯 Already had some great conversations with industry peers and fleet professionals, and we’re just getting started on Day 1. ☕ If you're here and want to grab a coffee, feel free to drop me a DM!

DAY 215 (2024) - HOW FAR HAVE I GONE ? By Pyamene Abraham How far you have gone in life can only be related to where you are going in life. If where you are going will take 10,000 miles and you have gone 90 miles, to someone going 100 miles, you have gone very far. But to you, you are still very far. When we rate people, we do that based on our own aspirations, but we fail to realise everyone has specific milestones. It is paramount everyone must appreciate the little efforts they are making and never compare themselves with others, because the race differs. Where are you going? If the journey is far, you must start early and make sure you eat just like Elijah, but this time, eat necessary information and materials relevant to your journey so you don't spend time following the wrong route. No matter how far you mught have gone, if the direction is wrong, your speed is irrelevant. Even if you are flying, if your bearing is wrong, you flight is of no use. To measure how far you have gone, know where you are going and the route you are currently taking. See you at the top.
