I was recently talking to a CTO I respect & he said that one of the best leaders he knew was called "the duck." Always calm above water but paddling furiously beneath the surface. He said that some people get great results but they do so frantically. Others are able to encapsulate their stress & get the same results without projecting it onto others. A subtle difference in leadership that can make a big impact on the perception of those around us. Sales is a career where the pressure never stops & I'm personally working on consistently embracing the way of the duck. Alright back to paddling...
