Okay, after three months I am finally ready to emerge from beneath my digital rock and talk about my business. However, before I do, I want to shine a light on a friend who is building something meaningful with his business and has been making significant strides in the last few weeks. Allow me to introduce you to Rally and its creator, Dan Coe!
I've known Dan for a while, seen the journey of creation, and truly believe in his mission and purpose. Lately, I have been noticing a growing collective focus and momentum towards community building here on the West Coast. In every conversation, I hear about deficits in community. I observe it in my travels, and I feel it in places that either did or should have it.
These discussions often revolve around an entrepreneur friend igniting the fire of a new niche community or, more commonly, conversations with individuals exhaustively seeking a community to belong to—somewhere they can find identity, support, and an escape to be their genuine selves. It's an apparent imbalance in people's lives that keeps surfacing, and I feel it deserves exploration.
The Bay Area is fascinating due to the aggregation of higher-vibration individuals who all trend towards solving problems, building, collaborating, and experimenting. It's an unconventional, natural current toward progress. This is my favorite aspect of this place. Dan has always been an active contributor and supporter of the physical communities I've formed in the past. I am excited to see the real, in-person community energy that flourishes from the Rally Platform.
