Each day we tell you about FEV - a leading #innovation 💡 driver in the #automotive sector. That FEV has an extensive know-how in propulsion technologies. And that this includes the corresponding software development as well as our distinct expertise in vehicle integration. But this time we don’t. We let the German Society for Consumer Studies (DtGV - Deutsche Gesellschaft für Verbraucherstudien mbH) do the job. They've selected Germany's most innovative companies with an annual turnover of up to one billion Euros from more than 6,300 companies on behalf of leading German national magazine stern Guess who took 🏆 1st place in the #propulsion technology category? FEV! 70 registered patents in this area are just one indicator of how we develop state-of-the-art solutions for a sustainable future. Add another 130 patents in other technology areas and you get an idea of our innovation power. For more information check out https://lnkd.in/gi4qAc7z for our latest news. Clearly transformation in all industries requires a close co:lab between businesses, governments and and science/education!
We connected with industry leaders during VECS 2024 in Gothenburg and discussed the future of mobility. Our team, including Pierre Renhult, Odd Löfvendahl, Michael Koziorowski, Emir Bijelonja and Maciej Partyka, was there to share insights. Pierre took the opportunity to ask Sigma Dolins about her takeaways regarding the challenges in the European automotive industry. Listen to her response. ⬇️ #VECS #tech #automotive #future #innovation #eu

We’ve been spotlighted in an article on the AGF.nl (Part of Fresh Publishers) platform. 👏🏻 A snippet from the article: Qarry was born at the Automotive Campus in Helmond and is backed by a team of automotive engineers. With abundant technical expertise and innovations, reliability is paramount for us," says Lorenzo. "We haven't cut corners in production to save costs because reliability is our top priority." Yesterday, I met with James Chai, the assistant chairman for the CCPIT Automotive Subcouncil. We had an in-depth discussion about the challenges and opportunities that Mexico is encountering with the arrival of Chinese car manufacturers. Some of the challenges we touched on include the competitive pressure on local manufacturers, the need for infrastructure improvements, and the potential impact on labor markets. On the other hand, we also discussed the opportunities such as the potential for increased foreign investment, technology transfer, and the creation of new jobs. This influx of Chinese car manufacturers could also drive innovation and elevate Mexico's position in the global automotive market.

Here are our thoughts on the paradigm shift currently unfolding in the automotive industry, driven by SDV. There's a crucial need to transition from a project-centric to a product-centric approach. Those who navigate this shift more effectively will undoubtedly lead the pack. Let me know if you agree or disagree with our take on this!
